Introduction I am a contemporary realist painter specializing in atmospheric landscapes. Skies and water are the elements that are most often featured in my paintings. I enjoy plein air painting as well as studio work. Besides landscapes I also paint cityscapes, marine and the occasional still life or figurative piece. I find most of my inspiration close to home in Washington DC, the landscapes of northern Virginia and the objects of my daily life.
